Café & bar
Vesterbro, Copenhagen
the sunniest terrace in the neighbourhood
Open
every day
One of copenhagen's favourite excuses to stay outside.
ABEL is a tiny café and bar next to the heart sculpture, Hjertet i Verdens Frelse, with a south-facing terrace that catches the sun from morning to sunset. The kind of place that’s easy to walk past and hard to leave once you’ve sat down.
In the morning it’s coffee and breakfast with the sun coming in low over Vesterbro. By noon it’s a toastie and somewhere to sit between whatever you had planned. By late afternoon the neighbourhood has found its way to the terrace for a cold beer or a glass of something before the evening starts.
Open every day from May to October. Come for the coffee, stay for the tan.

We’re part of Capsule Hotel Copenhagen in Vesterbro, next to the heart sculpture, Hjertet i Verdens Frelse. You don’t need to be staying at the hotel to come in. The terrace is open to everyone.
WHAT’S ON SOON
Don't say we didn't invite you.
The Artistic Library hosts book clubs, karaoke nights, beer pong tournaments, and small gatherings throughout the year. Something’s always coming up.
If your evening runs late, your capsule is next door.
Vesterbro doesn't stop at our terrace
The Meat Packing District is five minutes from the terrace. So is the train station, and most of what makes Copenhagen worth visiting. Here’s where to go next.
