When our founder came across the photography of young Swiss photographer Fabio Zingg, something clicked. His images of the Swiss mountains, vast, still, and quietly powerful, felt like the exact counterpoint to the noise of an airport terminal.
That tension became the hotel. Giant prints of Fabio’s mountain photography line the walls and the capsules themselves. Every material, from the wood to the textiles, was chosen to evoke an alpine chalet: the warmth of a place you actually want to be, inside a building most people just pass through.
Capsule Hotel Zurich Airport is not trying to make you forget you’re at an airport. It’s trying to make you glad you stopped.
