The OG of the Brand
Lucerne Old Town was imagined like the beginning of a book.
TheLab is not just the first Capsule Hotel in Lucerne. It’s the first one we ever built, and it all started from a brainstorming session. Somewhere in the conversation, someone drew a butterfly. Then a cocoon. Then the thought: what if the cocoon was somewhere you could actually sleep?
TheLab is still where new ideas get tried first. Before a new feature, a new format, or a new guest experience reaches any of our other locations, it starts here. The building is small enough to move quickly and curious enough to keep improving. If something feels different here compared to the rest of the group, that’s why.
